Estonia’s participation in the European Year of Cultural Heritage in 2018 was embodied in the Heritage Year, striving to cultivate a shared sense of European identity across diverse nations. Drawing inspiration from pop art, the visually captivating designs, crafted by the skilled artists at Identity, were strategically tailored for the younger demographic. The use of a universal design language aimed to inspire and engage young people in the exploration and study of their rich cultural heritage. My task was to make them illustrations dance, so dance they shall!
